Description: Experts, across the globe and across various economical ideologies, have been advocating "Universal Basic Income" and some countries have even started implementing it in various ways.
The Corona caused crisis has affected billions of people across the world. Here in India, the worst affected are:
1. Daily wages laborers who have been thrown out of jobs and are having to trek back home, walking in scorching heat with women, kinds and old, to their faraway villages. These villages, at times are 1,000 or more kilometers;
2. Farmers, whose products and farming itself is facing serious challenges;
3. MSME that has faced a total closure and its revival is a big challenge.
The above three, put together, means a vast majority of GDP, Employment, Exports for the country. If these are not helped immediately, the economy cannot bounce back. The help does not mean "Loans", but "help" and that is already late by over 2 months.
This needs a thorough discussion, apart from immediate implementation, at-least for the victims of current crisis.

I agree that everyone must get a minimum income to live a decent life, irrespective of his/her income. The society as a whole, must take responsibility of each and everyone of its beings (humans).
I think, if a government cannot do that, it should go out of politics.
