Journal of Australian Studies

The Journal of Australian Studies (JAS) is the journal of the International Australian Studies Association. In print since the mid-
1970s, JAS has been involved in some of the most important discussion about the past, present and future of Australia in the
last few decades. JAS is a fully-refereed, international quarterly journal which publishes scholarly articles and reviews on
Australian culture, society, politics, history and literature. The editorial practice is to promote and include multi and interdisciplinary
work. JAS is published four times per year from the launch of its new series in early 2009. JAS has been
assigned a multidisciplinary code in the 2012 ERA exercise.

All research, review and commentary articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review based on initial editor screening and detailed review by at least two anonymous referees. All other contributions have undergone editorial screening and review.
