Dynamical Systems: An International Journal

Dynamical Systems: An International Journal
Dynamical Systems: An International Journal

Dynamical Systems: An International Journal is a world-leading journal acting as a forum for communication across all branches of modern dynamical systems, and especially as a platform to facilitate interaction between theory and applications. This journal publishes high quality research articles in the theory and applications of dynamical systems, especially (but not exclusively) nonlinear systems. Advances in the following topics are addressed by the journal:

•Differential equations
•Bifurcation theory
•Hamiltonian and Lagrangian dynamics
•Hyperbolic dynamics
•Ergodic theory
•Topological and smooth dynamics
•Random dynamical systems
•Applications in technology, engineering and natural and life sciences

There is no formal page limit and longer manuscripts will be considered; however the Editors intend to offer fast refereeing to short papers (less than 5000 words or 8 typed pages).

As the remit of the Journal is fairly wide, authors are requested to present their work in a way that enables a wide audience to understand the context and motivation of the results in their article. Papers should present a major advancement either in the theory or applications of dynamics; articles that are minor improvements of previously published results will not be considered. High quality papers describing the application of the modern theory of dynamics to practical problems in other disciplines and reports of experiments or numerical simulations are also welcome, as long as they clearly illustrate important theoretical issues or highlight deficiencies in the theoretical development of dynamical systems. Contributions of a purely theoretical nature are likewise encouraged, provided that their relevance to applications is clearly described. The Journal also publishes occasional high quality review articles and special issues.

Queries on suitability of research for submission should be made via the Editors-in-Chief, as should proposals for special issues.

Peer Review Policy
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the Editor.  If found suitable for further consideration, papers are subject to peer review by independent, anonymous expert referees. All peer review is single blind and submissions can be made online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cdss.

Publishing Ethics
The journal adheres to the highest standards of publishing ethics, with rigorous processes in place to ensure this is achieved. Taylor & Francis is a member of Committee of Publications Ethics (COPE) and utilises CrossCheck for all Journals. More information on our ethical standards and policies can be found here: http://authorservices.taylorandfrancis.com/ethics-for-authors/.
The Journal has an appeals and complaints policy which can be viewed here: https://authorservices.taylorandfrancis.com/peer-review-appeals-and-complaints-from-authors/

Statement on Sanctions
Given the constantly changing sanctions landscape, Taylor & Francis recently undertook a review of our approach in order to understand all of the relevant exemptions available to a publishing business such as ourselves. This review has confirmed that Taylor & Francis, as a global business, is able to continue to engage with Iranian universities and academics in accordance with the General Publishing Licence issued by the US Government through OFAC in 2004.

Our obligations in this regard include the carrying out of appropriate and proportionate due diligence to ensure that we do not breach US sanctions and this is enhanced in those areas of study which correlate with targeted industries such as nuclear and biochemical defence.

Working in accordance with our obligations as explained above, we continue to welcome all Iranian authors who approach Taylor & Francis.
