International Spectator

The International Spectator aims to provide academics, practitioners, opinion- and decision-makers, as well as interested laymen with thought-provoking and policy-oriented articles, opinions, and book reviews on a wide spectrum of foreign policy issues. Topics range from ongoing international issues, with an emphasis on regions and themes of traditional interest to Italy, especially European politics and European integration, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, to transatlantic relations, as well as rising questions on the international agenda such as Asian security, climate and energy, and migration and development.

Peer Review
The two kinds of articles published – essays and research articles – undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial in-house screening and double-blind anonymous refereeing by at least two independent, expert reviewers. Authors come from a broad geographic range, particularly European, North American, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries. The journal welcomes submissions on all aspects of international politics, economics and security affairs in its areas of interest.
