Global Criminal and Sovereign Free Economies and the Demise of the Western Democracies

States within the global political economy today face a twin insurgency, one from below, another from above.This project seeks to explore the supra-national (top down) component and examine how it compliments the sub-national (bottom up) component expressed by criminal insurgency derived from the illicit economy.
