The Future of Disaster Management in the U.S.

This book looks at various aspects of the current legal, policy and fiscal framework for disaster management and its current effects on local capacity building and recommends systemic reform. The authors argue that resources should be used more efficiently and with more flexibility in order to promote local self-reliance and increased resilience.
