This Koha LMS Mobile App is developed, customized, hosted, maintained and supported by BestBook Buddies Technologies Private Limited for the use of members/users of Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India. This SERVICE is provided by BestBook Buddies Technologies Private Limited, and is intended for use of registered and guest users of the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
If you choose to use the Services through this Mobile APP, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information shown in this Mobile APP, is the one already existing in the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library database and nothing new is collected by this Mobile App. We will not use or share your information, that is available in the database of Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India, with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Your information (Name, Address, Phone number, Email ID, Library membership number, Date of Birth, etc., as decided by the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India.) are stored by the Library database when you join the Library. These information is required to create your library membership card and this Information will be deleted by the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India, when your membership expires for whichever reason, as per the rules of the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India, and we have no role in that aspect. Through this Mobile App, you can only request for a membership, which may be allowed by the library at its own discretion as per its own rules and terms. You can log in to the library only through credentials, because your data of books/items Taken, Returned and Due for Return etc., are needed and stored by the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India, with its connection to you as its unique user.
This Mobile App, in itself, does not require your Date of birth, Address, Gender to function, as it works only based on your login ID and Password, fetched from the database of the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India.
You can request the Library to delete your membership at any time, after completing their formalities of paying dues if any and completing the formalities with the Library. Once they close your account, you will not be able to use this App in any way to access the Library anymore. However, this aspect is between you and the library, without role for us or this Mobile App.
This App does not connect you to social media, and hence, there is no data pertaining to that stored in the App. The app functionality is not related to a specific social network (e.g. Facebook, WeChat, Weibo, Twitter, etc.) and login is solely through the login ID and password. The “Forgot Password” feature is available to reset the password at any time.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at Koha LMS Mobile App unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
For a better experience, please note, that we do not require your data in any format whatsoever. Hence there is no possibility of your information being used/misused/shared with anyone, whomsoever. This is so, because the Mobile App by itself, does not ask you for your data nor retains it in any format.

You can stop all accession of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
In view of the fact user’s data is not collected by this Mobile APP, the Service Provider does not retain User Provided at all. If you feel that there is any breach in this regard, you can contact the Prof. M S Swaminathan Library, IARI, New Delhi, India, requesting them to delete User Provided Data that you have provided to them.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
